Nokia Phi design patent all but confirms Windows Phone 8 device

Matches previous leaks
Nokia Phi design patent emerges

A design patent purporting to be the Nokia Phi - the manufacturer’s soon to be announced Windows Phone 8 flagship device - has emerged supporting claims that previous leaked images of the device are indeed real.

Liveside.net has managed to get hold of the patented sketches that were submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office website only on the August.?

When the drawings are seen alongside the previously leaked images of the Nokia Phi, both the bezel and position and size of the speaker match.

The Nokia Phi, which is expected to be unveiled alongside the Nokia Arrow at Nokia World on 5 September, is said to house a 4.7-inch curved AMOLED display, dual-core processor and NFC and LTE support.

Both the names of the Nokia Phi and Nokia Arrow are said to be codenames, so expect them to change if indeed they are launched at Nokia World, held this year in New York.
