Outselling its predecessor
Samsung has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it has sold more than three million of its Samsung Galaxy Note 2’s worldwide in little over a month.
The figures show that the device, which features a huge 5.5-inch display, has been an instant hit since arriving in stores in late September, surpassing its predecessor.?
Samsung proudly announced back in March that the original Samsung Galaxy Note had shipped over five million units in as many months. Though that was deemed a success, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 looks on course to blow those sales figures out of the water.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 arrived in the UK and other markets on 1 October, after debuting in South Korea and following its unveiling at IFA at the end of August.?
Along with the giant screen, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also runs on Android Jelly Bean while an LTE version is also available on EE’s new 4G network.
