More for your money
You asked for it (apparently) and now you’re getting it. Dropbox has announced that it is doubling the amount of storage space for its Pro 50 and 100 GB customers as well as introducing a new 500 GB plan.
The additional storage space will be added automatically for existing Dropbox users, while new customers can purchase the 100, 200 and 500 GB plans from today. It means Dropbox customers will be able to store and backup more files, including higher resolution images and videos as well as documents to the cloud service.
Existing users are also being encouraged to promote the service to friends and family, with a three-month Pro 100 trial subscription available to anyone they choose.
Dropbox is set to reveal the pricing details for the new plans later today, so be sure to pay www.dropbox.com/pricing a visit. Dropbox also currently offers a free service though customers are limited to 18GB of storage.
