It could cost Google £645m to stay iOS's default search engine

Google may have to pay more than $1 billion (£645 million) if it wants to keep its position as the default search engine on iOS in 2014, a report from Morgan Stanley hints.

The prediction by analyst Scott Devitt, as reported by TechCrunch, is part of a breakdown of how much Google is expected to spend on ways of acquiring traffic and users for its services.
