People need more tools to acquire information in a virtual space that is conducive to inspiring new ideas, says Ferran Adrià. This, he suggests, can be achieved in every industry and company if they begin creative auditing.
Speaking at Wired 2012, the elBulli chef and creator of future innovation centre elBulli Foundation, explained how platforms like his LaBullipedia -- a curated, creative audit of a history of excellence in cooking -- are necessary to ensure future generations of creatives have the means to research innovation, and to keep things moving ever-faster forward.
"How many companies have a department that controls and audits what their creators are developing? How many can control and track their innovation and creativity? Very, very few. I have assessed some of the world's top companies and I've not seen this -- and there is a logic to it. The internet wasn't around."
