Valve has announced an initiative called Steam Greenlight, where gamers get to vote on the indie games they'd like to see on the digital distribution platform.
Part Kickstarter, part Reddit, Greenlight lets developers pitch their game to the Steam community, and then players can vote for games they'd like to play. Valve will then reach out to the creators of the most popular pitches.
