Mozilla shows off dedicated hardware for Firefox OS

Geeksphone

A peak at the Peak The Keon and Peak

Mozilla has unveiled two developer preview phones that demonstrate its fore coming Firefox OS system. Created by Spanish company Geeksphone, the Keon and Peak aren't game changers, but offer a glimpse at what's to come from Mozilla.

The Keon is the smaller, orangier offering for developers, running one of Qualcomm's 1Ghz Snapdragon CPUs. With a 3.5-inch touchscreen, it's smaller than a Galaxy S3 Mini, and wields a slightly poxy 3-megapixel camera, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and Wi-Fi. It's not going to set a developer's the world alight, but then it's not designed to do that.
